Footworks Studio Policies & Dress Code
Season & Scheduling

Fall Season: September through recital (typically mid-May), ~28–32 weeks

Competition Season: August–July (includes required summer & fall classes)

Summer Programs: June–August (classes & camps)
Registration & Fees
-
Annual Registration Fee: $30 per student / $40 per family (fall only)

Holds your spot in class and includes studio benefits
-
Non-refundable and not applicable to summer
Tuition & Payments

Tuition may be paid in full (discounted) or via monthly auto-pay
-
Monthly payments are due the first week of each month
-
Summer classes/camps must be paid in full at registration

All accounts require a card on file for automatic payments

A service fee applies to monthly auto-pay plans
Refunds & Withdrawals

All payments are non-refundable
-
A 30-day written notice is required to withdraw

Medical exceptions may be considered with documentation and director approval
Late & Returned Payments

$25 late fee for past-due accounts
-
$30 fee for returned/NSF checks

Students may be suspended until balances are current
Account Requirements

Accounts must be paid in full before recital

Remaining balances will be charged in early May

Competition students must be up to date to participate
Class Policies

Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment

Alternate classes will be offered when possible

Refunds are only issued if no alternative is available
Weather Policy

Classes are canceled when Kimberly School District cancels or dismisses early
Recital Information

Recital T-shirt fee: $20–$25 (if applicable)

Tickets sold the month before the show

Dancers must remain backstage for the full performance
Costumes

Costume sizing must be selected during designated week

Costumes are final sale (no refunds or exchanges)

Additional costumes may be purchased if available

Dress Code

Hair must be securely pulled back for all classes, regardless of style
Ballet:

Leotard and tights required

Ballet skirts or shorts optional

Ballet shoes required
Pointe:

Pointe shoes required (teacher approval needed)
Jazz:

Jazz shoes required (color may vary by class/costume)
Tap:

Tap shoes required
Hip Hop:

Clean sneakers (specific shoes may vary based on costume)
Lyrical:

Foot undies matching the dancer’s skin tone
Acro/Tumbling:

Barefoot
All Other Classes:

Leggings, sports bras, and athletic wear permitted
