Owner Director
Kim Mader
Miss Kim began dancing at age 4, taking classes at her Uncles Oshkosh dance studio, and has dedicated her life to inspiring young dancers. She holds a degree in Accounting, is a member of the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters and Dance Masters of Wisconsin, and is licensed as a Wisconsin substitute teacher. Miss Kim has led students to national championships and received awards including “Teacher of the Year” and “Best Choreography.” She is passionate about building confidence, and being a shoulder to lean on for her students, parents, and staff.

Office Manager
Terri Smith
Miss Terri plays a crucial role in Footworks administration and brings years of business management and teaching experience to FDC. She is CPR and first aid trained, and is the local EMS director. Known for her caring and supportive nature, Miss Terri is passionate about helping dancers grow both in and out of the studio, and is known as someone you can always count on.

Shelly J.
Miss Michelle has been dancing for 27 years and teaching for 13. Trained under Footworks director Kim Mader, she is experienced in contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, modern, and hip hop. Throughout her career, she has had the privlege to take class from industry professionals including tWitch, Sonya Tayeh, and Misha Gabriel, and has choreographed for several Miss Wisconsin organization titleholders. Miss Michelle continues her dance education through CNADM and is currently working toward her master dance educator certification with them. She is passionate about encouraging dancers to grow artistically, step outside their comfort zones, and build confidence through movement.

Megan Jansen
Miss Megan has been dancing since the age of 2 and holds bachelor’s degrees in Dance and Psychology, graduating Summa Cum Laude in both fields. Known for her strong technical training, attention to detail, and powerful choreography, Miss Megan pushes dancers to reach their highest potential while building confidence and artistry along the way. A former award-winning competitive dancer and scholarship recipient herself, she has earned awards including “Best Choreography” and has led dancers to numerous top competitive placements.

Bella Shields
Miss Tatyana is a former Footworks competitive dancer and national champion who has trained extensively through conventions and workshops. An award-winning performer herself, she is passionate about helping dancers grow in both technique and performance quality while building confidence and joy on stage. As the owner of both a daycare and boutique business, Miss Tatyana brings a caring, uplifting, and entrepreneurial spirit to the studio, making her a trusted mentor and role model for dancers of all ages.
Bella has been dancing since the age of 3 and trained competitively for over 10 years with experience in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, ballet, pointe, hip hop, and open. Bella recently obtained her degree in Architectural Technology at NWTC. Miss Bella is excited to inspire the next generation of dancers through her passion for teaching and movement.

Choreographer
Paige Jansen
Miss Paige has been dancing since the age of 2 and is an award-winning former competitive dancer. She holds a master’s degree in Psychology and is a practicing BCBA. Known for her edgy choreography and passion for movement-based dance, Miss Paige loves helping dancers grow in confidence, artistry, and performance quality.

Jen Hebbe
Miss Jen is a former student of Miss Kim’s and a former competitive dancer herself. She holds a degree in Education and currently teaches locally while continuing her training through the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. Known for her sweet and caring personality, Miss Jen is passionate about helping dancers grow in both skill and confidence while creating a positive and encouraging environment for students of all ages and levels.

Savannah McSorley
Miss Savannah has been dancing since the age of 3 and spent her entire competitive dance career training with Footworks Dance Company. Known for her powerful, emotional, and movement-based performance style, she brings both artistry and passion into her teaching. While currently pursuing her degree locally, Miss Savannah serves as a lead instructor at FDC and is known for her kind, calm presence and supportive approach with dancers of all ages.

Choreography & Lead Teacher
Tiahna Smith
Miss Tiahna has been dancing since the age of 1 and has trained through numerous dance conventions throughout her dance career. A former leader and student mentor within the Footworks competition program, she has now stepped into a lead instructor and choreographer role while attending college in Florida. Known for her funny, genuine personality and strong connection with her students, Miss Tiahna is passionate about helping dancers of all ages grow in confidence, performance quality, and love for dance.

Footworks Dance Company implements a student mentorship and student teacher program. These teachers have spent years in the classroom assisting, and learning how to work with dancers of all ages. They have displayed leadership, kindness, and work ethic, and are lead teachers in our classrooms.
Our student teachers are all on our Platinum competitive program, working hard to further their own dance training, to pass along to your dancers. Many attend CNADM yearly, and have passed their dance exams in various levels and genres.
