Hi, everyone!

Hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this COVID pandemic.

My name is Olivia Steinbrunn, aka "Miss Olivia". I am a lifelong dancer and graduate student getting my Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Loyola Chicago.

I am so excited to be coming back to Footworks Dance Company as a returning instructor as it safely reopens this Fall 2020 season. In fact, I'll be teaching my first classes Wednesday, Sept 16th (my birthday!).

I can't wait to meet you all and share in the job of dance.

My Experience with Footworks:

You have probably seen my high recommendation of the studio on the studio website and other social media sites/review sites like Facebook and Yelp.

Back in Fall 2016, I taught at FDC during 1 competition back when I was a sophomore in undergrad at Saint Norbert College. I enjoyed my experience in working closely with the elite, competition team. There were countless proud moments for me with them, including their achieving 1st Overall and Best Lyrical in the dance "Body Love", in which I had the opportunity to contribute choreography and critiques, during Rainbow Dance Competition Nationals in Green Bay, WI.

Four years later, as an online graduate student at Loyola Chicago, I have the privilege and honor of working at the studio again.

Dance Background:

Diverse, international dance experience with 13+ years of competitive dance training. 2-time captain leading teams of 30 dancers coast to coast in regional and national competitions every year.

Graduate from the world-renown Larkin Dance Studio in Maplewood, MN.

Like Footworks, Larkin is a family-owned studio that offers both recreational and competition dance programs. Like most dancers, my dance background and training have been extremely formative in who I am.

Summer intensive in Bermuda through the program collaboration of DanceBermuda and the American Ballet Theatre (ABT).

Cheerleading experience on Saint Norbert College Cheer Team, cheerleading for the university and the Green Bay Packers at home games.
